Helping you “Get started on Twitter”
Below are a series of videos aimed at helping you to get started on Twitter. They take you from the very beginning of setting up your account right the way through to being a confident tweeter, knowing exactly how to add links, hashtags and images. I truly hope you find these videos useful. I’ve tried to keep them as short as possible but at the same time, packed with information to help get started on Twitter.
The first video guides you through those very tentative steps of actually opening a Twitter account, choosing a username, adding a profile photo and following a few other accounts. Here's a short video showing how you actually open up a Twitter account #TwitterTraining Click To Tweet
Second up, we start to dive a little deeper now and begin to look at your followers, who you’re following, mentions, Direct Messages (DM’s) and a general hunt around to find everything and see how it all works.
Third up and now it’s time to send a tweet. We look at composing a simple tweet as well as a second tweet containing a link, an image and a hashtag too. We then look at the tweets and see what other people see when you send them a tweet.
In the fourth video we look at how to find and follow accounts or people that you want to. We also look at Twitter ‘s “Who to Follow” suggestions and how that works as well as searching for accounts in your industry, by location or via their actual name!
In the final video in this series, I take a look at Trending Topics and Twitter Moments. How can you use trends & moments to find things to tweet about.
How about this for great feedback…
