Monday 20th March
Why should you be recording Facebook videos? Because they are the best type of content on Facebook, hands down. Facebook loves it when we upload video, so it rewards us by showing it to more people and gaining us vital reach. It’s also engaging and easily consumable. Watch the video for more reasons.
Tuesday 21st March
This was the shortest video of the week and basically summarises how you should be communicating with your audience. Whether you’re a B2B business or a B2C business, there is a simple and straight forward way of doing this. It’s not about corporate speak or newspaper headlines, it’s as simple as remembering who you’re talking to.
Wednesday 22nd March
Another short video today but these sometimes prove to be the most popular of the week. In it, I explain that Instagram has added the ability to save your live videos now and how to do that. My aim with all of my videos is to make them under 1 minute so I can share them on Instagram too. Tricky some days.
Thursday 23rd March
Possibly one of my most poignant videos, EVER! It’s a day we’re all unlikely to forget in a long time. I recorded this video the day after the attack on Westminster and in it, I asked people to do the right thing. I have seen numerous examples of people leveraging the wrong thing to promote their business; don’t be THAT business.
Friday 24th March
We ended the week on some general news in the world of social media. Starting off with LinkedIn’s new ‘Trending’ feature, we also looked at Instagram and the ability to book via the app. We also looked at advertising numbers there and its Blurred Images. finally, Facebook’s Messenger app too, and what’s new there.
As always, I hope you have enjoyed my daily social media video tips. Obviously, I’d really appreciate it if you liked and shared any of the videos; as I try and place them on as many of my social media channels as possible. If you think any of these tips might be useful for a friend or colleague, please feel free to share with them too!
